School Impact offers 1-hour, 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour course options. Not every course is available in every length, but longer courses provide a more in-depth look at the topic. Schools use the different hour options in the way that best fits their needs, with many assigning longer courses for more serious discipline issues. Each course has a minimum time requirement, but students do not have to complete it in one sitting. Once registered, students can start and stop as many times as needed.
Students can take as long as they need to complete their course. Many schools choose to give students a required completion timeframe, but School Impact does not set a deadline. Pre-paid courses never expire, so schools can use them as needed throughout the year or in future school years.
Yes. Progress saves automatically, and students can log in and out as many times as needed.
Yes. Every course has a final exam, and students need an overall grade of 70% or higher to pass and earn a certificate of completion. If they don’t pass, they’re given another attempt.

Students can download their certificate immediately after finishing the course, or receive it by email. Schools with an admin account can view student progress and download or print certificates as needed.
Attendance codes are short 3- or 4-digit numbers that appear at random during the course. Students see and hear the code (it’s repeated in the audio), which helps confirm they’re paying attention. If a code is missed, they can go back and review that section.
Yes. School Impact is committed to protecting every student’s privacy and online confidentiality. Our site uses encryption to protect your students’ personal information.

Yes. With your administrator account you can track student progress, view transcripts and access certificates once courses are completed.
School Impact courses are easy to add to your school’s existing curriculum, intervention program, ISS program, alternative education program, or student support services. Courses are fully online and self-paced, so students can complete them during class, at home, in ISS, or as part of a behavior or prevention assignment. Schools can assign courses as needed for specific behavior issues, prevention education, life skills support, or discipline alternatives.
